About the 4th Wall

The 4th Wall Theatre opened in April 2013, after two years spent turning a Strandon church into an intimate three-level theatre.

We exist to enrich cultural life in Taranaki, to push live theatre forward and to share it with as many people as possible. Our programme mixes touring musicians, comedy, theatre, film and local productions, all in a room where nobody is more than a few tables from the stage.
