Questions and answers

How do I book?

Online, any time, from the show's page. Or call the box office on 0800 484 925, email info@4thwalltheatre.co.nz, or come in during box office hours. Phone bookings need to be paid at least 48 hours before the show. We take cards, cash and internet banking.

Are there booking fees?

No. The price you see is the price you pay, online or at the box office. A few touring shows sell their own tickets elsewhere; their fees are set by them.

Box office hours

Friday 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Saturday 10am – 2pm
Or by appointment

Where do I park?

There's a well-lit car park behind the theatre, and more off-street parking in the VERBREC car park next door, which security patrols. Both are entered from Devon Street East or Baring Terrace. If you're getting a taxi home, book it ahead; bar staff can call one for you.

Food and drink

The bar is fully licensed, and there are complimentary antipasto platters at the bar. For some shows you can pre-order a platter when you book. Take your drinks to your table; water carafes are on every table.

Accessibility

There's level access for people with limited mobility, and wheelchair spaces in Row A by arrangement. Some areas have tiered seating, so call us when you book and we'll find the best seats for you.

Collecting tickets

Online bookings are emailed. If you're collecting tickets on the night, arrive 20 minutes before the show. You can also collect them during box office hours.

Refunds and exchanges

Tickets aren't refundable as a rule, but if you tell us more than 48 hours before the show we'll happily arrange a credit for another performance or a full refund.

What time does the show start?

Most shows start at 7:30pm, but times vary. Check your ticket before you come.

Photos and phones

Please don't take photos or video during the show; it distracts the performers and the people around you. The foyer is a great spot for photos before and after. Switch your phone off, as the glow and buzz carry.

Groups and corporate nights

Bring clients or your team for a night of live theatre. Call or email the box office and we'll put something together.
